Evie's Spanish Rice

The recipe came from Fix-It and Forget-It Cookbook. I knew I had hamburger in the freezer and needed something new to try.

2 lbs. lean ground beef
2 onions, chopped
2 green peppers, chopped
1 qt. canned tomatoes
8 oz can tomato sauce
1 cup water
2 1/2 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. Worchester sauce
1 cup converted rice, uncooked

I varied from Evie's recipe and added 1 tsp. cumin.

1. Brown beef in skillet. Drain.
2.Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Stir.
3. Cover. Cook on Low 7-9 hours.

My taste tester said he liked so it is a keeper at my house.
