This is more of a review on the product Newman's Own Marinade herb & Roasted Garlic plus a quicky recipe.
In Sunday's paper I found a coupon an a recipe for Presto Chicken so I thought I would take this chance to check out the Marinade and have a quick and easy meal to boot.
Presto Chicken
1 cup Newman's own Herb & Roasted Garlic marinade
3 boneless skinless chicken breast
3 12" x 12" squares of aluminum foil
Pierce chicken several times then place it and marinade in a large sealable plastic bag
Seal bag. Marinate in refrigerator 1 hour
Preheat oven to 350
Remove chicken and discard marinade. Place one chicken breast in the center of each foil piece.
Close foil pouch tightly, leaving space around the chicken
Bake for 30 minutes or until meat thermometer reads 170. Be careful opening packages as steam will build up.
My husband and I have used the Newman's Own Dressings many times for a marinade for chicken on the smoker but this is the first time we have tried the actual marinade. We give it a A+. My husband said it would be a definite must in the pantry.
