I received an email from my husband yesterday saying he signed up for dessert on a work Potluck. So off to my cookbooks to see if I could find something new to try. When looking through So Fat, Low Fat, No Fat I found this cute little ante dote. No it won't feel your stomach but it might give you the warm fuzzies. It definitely reminded me to two friends of mine.
1 cup Kindness
2 cups Courtesy
3 cups Truthfulness
2 1/2 cups Dependability
1 cup Freedom
2 tablespoons Industry
4 cups Obedience
1 1/2 cups Honesty
2 cups Modesty
3 cups Sharing
6 1/2 cups Honor to Parents
Simmer all ingredients over a gentle fire of family love, for a lifetime. Serve with smiles and heartfelt praise and good humor.
Funny thing is I went back to an old favorite Heaven Cake ( which you can find in the dessert category of this blog), for my husband to take to his potluck.
I am trying a new entree for dinner so check back a new recipe will be forthcoming.
